Classic White Bread Rolls
Ingredients:
- 3 cups (360g) all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting
- 1 teaspoon (5g) active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon (5g) sugar
- 1 teaspoon (5g) salt
- 1 cup (240ml) warm water (105-115°F)
- 1 tablespoon (15g) melted unsalted butter
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
2. Gradually add the warm water while stirring with a wooden spoon until a dough forms.
3. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
4. Add the melted butter and knead again until fully incorporated.
5. Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
6. Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces.
7. Shape the pieces into rolls, place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet, and cover with plastic wrap.
8. Let the rolls rise for 30 minutes, or until almost doubled in size.
9. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

- 1 cup (240ml) warm milk
- 2 tablespoons (28g) brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon (5g) active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon (5g) salt

- 1/4 cup (60g) melted unsalted butter

- 1/4 cup (60g) minced fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon (15g) minced fresh garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5g) dried oregano
