What are the attributes of God in Islam?

In Islam, God is believed to possess the following attributes:

1. Oneness (Tawhid): God is believed to be one and indivisible, with no partners or associates.

2. Transcendence (Tanzih): God is believed to be completely separate and distinct from His creation.

3. Immanence (Tashbih): God is believed to be present and active in the world, sustaining and guiding all creation.

4. Omniscience (Al-‘Alim): God is believed to be all-knowing, with complete knowledge of the past, present, and future.

5. Omnipotence (Al-Qadir): God is believed to be all-powerful, capable of doing anything He wills.

6. Mercy (Ar-Rahman, Ar-Rahim): God is believed to be infinitely merciful and compassionate towards His creation.

7. Justice (Al-‘Adl): God is believed to be perfectly just, rewarding the righteous and punishing the wicked.

8. Wisdom (Al-Hakim): God is believed to be infinitely wise, with perfect knowledge and understanding of all things.

9. Sovereignty (Al-Malik, Al-Malik): God is believed to be the ultimate ruler and authority over all creation.
