How does neonatal apnea lead to ,bradycardia, hypotension?

Neonatal apnea is a condition characterized by pauses in breathing that last for more than 20 seconds in newborn babies. When a baby experiences apnea, it can lead to a decrease in oxygen levels in the blood, which can in turn cause bradycardia (a slow heart rate) and hypotension (low blood pressure).

When the baby stops breathing, the body's natural response is to decrease the heart rate in an attempt to conserve oxygen. This can lead to bradycardia, which is defined as a heart rate below the normal range for a baby's age.
