What is condensation?

Condensation is the process by which a gas or vapor changes into a liquid. This occurs when the temperature of the gas or vapor decreases, causing the molecules to slow down and come closer together, eventually forming a liquid. Condensation is commonly seen on surfaces such as windows, where water vapor in the air cools and turns into liquid water droplets.
