The statement “Write an advertisement” is indicated in the CAPS (2011) as content that must be taught to Grade 4 HL learners. Explain how you would teach learners to write an advertisement. You need to indicate what the advertisement must be on (e.g. a car, a shop, food, healthy living, a specific service, medicine, etc) and what activities you will expect learners to do during each of the phases of the writing process.
