How would you deselect the cells?

To deselect cells in a spreadsheet or document, you can simply click on any empty area of the document or press the "Esc" key on your keyboard. This will remove the selection from the cells and deselect them.

Keyboard Shortcut:

- Windows: Ctrl + Spacebar
- macOS: Cmd + Spacebar

Menu Option:

1. Right-click on the selected cells.
2. Select "Clear Selection" from the context menu.

Worksheet Tab:

1. Click on the worksheet tab to switch to a different worksheet.
2. The selection in the previous worksheet will be cleared.

Formula Bar:

1. Click on the formula bar and press Escape (Esc).
2. The selection will be cleared.

Active Cell:

1. Click on an empty cell or an already selected cell.
2. The previous selection will be cleared.
