How many zones are there in ocean what are they?

There are three main oceanic zones: the euphotic zone, the disphotic zone, and the aphotic zone.

3 Zones of the Ocean:

1. Sunlight Zone (Euphotic Zone):
- Depth: 0-200 meters
- Receives enough sunlight for photosynthesis
- Contains most marine life and biodiversity

2. Twilight Zone (Mesopelagic Zone):
- Depth: 200-1,000 meters
- Receives reduced sunlight
- Home to deep-sea fish, jellyfish, and other adapted creatures

3. Midnight Zone (Darkness Zone):
- Depth: Over 1,000 meters
- No sunlight reaches this zone
- Inhabited by creatures that have evolved to live in darkness, such as anglerfish, jellyfish, and bioluminescent organisms
