General signs and symptoms of congestive cardiac failure ?

1. Shortness of breath (dyspnea) with exertion or at rest
2. Fatigue and weakness
3. Swelling in the legs, ankles, or feet (edema)
4. Rapid or irregular heartbeat
5. Persistent cough or wheezing
6. Sudden weight gain
7. Decreased appetite
8. Nausea or abdominal swelling
9. Difficulty sleeping or lying flat due to shortness of breath
10. Confusion or impaired thinking
11. Chest pain or discomfort
12. Decreased urine output or frequent urination at night.

Cardiovascular:

- Dyspnea (shortness of breath), initially on exertion but eventually at rest
- Orthopnea (difficulty breathing when lying down)
- Paroxysmal nocturnal dyspnea (sudden onset of shortness of breath at night)
- Chest pain or discomfort
- Fatigue
- Weakness
- Edema (swelling) in the legs, ankles, and feet
- Jugular venous distension (swelling of the veins in the neck)

Respiratory:

- Wheezing
- Rales (crackling sounds in the lungs)
- Cyanosis (blue or purple tint to the skin and lips)

Gastrointestinal:

- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Abdominal pain
- Constipation

Renal:

- Oliguria (decreased urine output)
- Nocturia (excessive urination at night)
- Hematuria (blood in the urine)

Other:

- Anxiety
- Depression
- Impaired cognitive function
- Weight gain
- Exercise intolerance
