Form of passive voice and there examples?

Passive voice is a grammatical construction in which the subject of a sentence is the recipient of the action rather than the doer of the action. It is formed by using a form of the verb "to be" followed by the past participle of the main verb.

Examples of passive voice:

1. The cake was baked by Mary. (Active voice: Mary baked the cake.)
2. The report will be submitted by the end of the day. (Active voice: I will submit the report by the end of the day.)
3. The car was stolen last night. (Active voice: Someone stole the car last night.)
4. The book was written by a famous author. (Active voice: A famous author wrote the book.)
5. The house was cleaned by the cleaning crew. (Active voice: The cleaning crew cleaned the house.)

Form of Passive Voice:

Subject + be (am/is/are/was/were) + Past Participle of the verb + (by + Agent)

Examples:

Present Simple Passive:

- The book is read by me.
- The dishes are washed by my sister.

Present Continuous Passive:

- The car is being fixed by the mechanic.
- The garden is being watered by the gardener.

Present Perfect Passive:

- The report has been written by the secretary.
- The table has been cleared by the waiter.

Past Simple Passive:

- The window was broken by the stone.
- The letter was received by the manager.

Past Continuous Passive:

- The cake was being baked by my grandmother.
- The house was being painted by the workers.

Past Perfect Passive:

- The homework had been finished by the time I arrived.
