Cytoplasm is a gel-like substance found inside cells that contains various organelles, such as the nucleus, mitochondria, and ribosomes. It is responsible for supporting and protecting the cell's organelles and providing a medium for chemical reactions to take place. Cytoplasm also plays a role in transporting nutrients and waste products within the cell.
