Anaphylaxis?

Anaphylaxis is a severe and potentially life-threatening allergic reaction that can occur within seconds or minutes of exposure to an allergen. Symptoms of anaphylaxis can include difficulty breathing, swelling of the face or throat, rapid heartbeat, low blood pressure, and loss of consciousness. Anaphylaxis requires immediate medical attention, typically with the use of epinephrine (adrenaline) to reverse the symptoms and prevent further complications.
