Agroecological zones in Uganda

1. Lake Victoria Crescent: This zone is characterized by a humid climate and fertile soils, making it suitable for a variety of crops such as bananas, coffee, and maize.

2. Eastern Agroecological Zone: This zone is characterized by a semi-arid climate and is suitable for crops such as sorghum, millet, and groundnuts.

3. Western Agroecological Zone: This zone is characterized by a highland climate and is suitable for crops such as beans, potatoes, and tea.

4. Northern Agroecological Zone: This zone is characterized by a semi-arid climate and is suitable for crops such as sorghum, millet, and groundnuts.
