Why did Moses cover or veiled his face in the Old Testament? Explain it in a very very simplify language and use simplify English words??

Moses covered his face because he had been talking to God and his face was shining brightly. He covered it so people wouldn't be scared or think he was special.

Moses covered his face with a veil because the people were afraid of the light coming from his face. God had spoken to Moses on Mount Sinai, and the light from God's presence had made Moses' face glow. When Moses came down from the mountain, the people were so afraid of his face that they asked him to cover it. Moses did so, and he continued to wear the veil whenever he spoke to the people.
