Sultan Suleiman, also known as Suleiman the Magnificent, was the tenth and longest-reigning Sultan of the Ottoman Empire. He ruled from 1520 to 1566 and is considered one of the most powerful and influential rulers in Ottoman history. Suleiman expanded the empire's territories significantly, leading successful military campaigns in Europe, Asia, and Africa. He implemented administrative and legal reforms, known as the "Kanun-i-Suleiman," which helped to centralize and strengthen the empire. Suleiman was also a patron of the arts and sciences, supporting the development of Ottoman architecture, literature, and calligraphy. He is often remembered for his close relationship with his wife, Hurrem Sultan, who held significant influence over him and the empire.
