Which process does sedimentary rocks turns in to magma?

The process by which sedimentary rocks turn into magma is called partial melting. This occurs when the temperature and pressure of the rocks increase to the point where some of the minerals within the rock begin to melt, forming magma. This magma can then rise to the surface and cool and solidify to form igneous rocks.

Sedimentary rocks do not transform into magma. Magma is formed from the melting of existing rocks, typically igneous or metamorphic rocks, deep within the Earth's mantle.
