When did Judaism in Ethiopia begin?

Judaism in Ethiopia is believed to have originated in ancient times, possibly as early as the time of King Solomon in the 10th century BCE. However, the Beta Israel community, also known as Ethiopian Jews, is thought to have formed around the 4th century CE.
