The year of sorrow or sadness in Islam is known as the Year of Sorrow (Aam al-Huzn) and it refers to the year in which the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) faced a series of personal tragedies. This year is believed to be around 619 AD, when the Prophet lost his beloved wife Khadijah and his uncle Abu Talib, who had been a strong supporter and protector of the early Muslim community. This period of sorrow and hardship is seen as a test of faith and patience for the Prophet and his followers.
