What are the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals?

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of 17 goals that were adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015 as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The goals are aimed at addressing global challenges such as poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace, and justice. The SDGs are designed to be a blueprint for a more sustainable and equitable future for all people and the planet. Some of the goals include ending poverty, ensuring access to quality education and healthcare, promoting gender equality, and taking urgent action to combat climate change.
