What are nasal polyps ?

Nasal polyps are noncancerous growths that develop in the lining of the nasal passages or sinuses. They are typically soft, painless, and range in size from small to large. Nasal polyps can cause symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, postnasal drip, reduced sense of smell, facial pain or pressure, and snoring.
