Butt Joint:
- Two pieces of metal are aligned and joined end-to-end without overlapping.

Edge Joint:

T-Joint:
- One piece of metal is placed perpendicular to another piece of metal and joined along the intersection.

Corner Joint:
- Two pieces of metal are positioned at a 90-degree angle to each other and joined at the corner.

Lap Joint:
- Two pieces of metal overlap each other and are joined together along the overlapped area.

Groove Joint:
- A joint where one piece of metal has a groove cut into it, and another piece fits into the groove.

Bevel Joint:
- A joint where both pieces of metal are beveled at an angle and joined together.

J-Joint:
- A joint where one piece of metal has a J-shaped edge and the other piece fits inside it.

U-Joint:
- A joint where one piece of metal has a U-shaped edge and the other piece fits inside it.

V-Joint:
- A joint where both pieces of metal are beveled at a 90-degree angle and joined together.

X-Joint:
- A joint where four pieces of metal are joined together in an X-shape.
