There are four processes involved in observational learning.

1. Attention: In order to learn through observation, individuals must pay attention to the model and the behavior being demonstrated. This involves focusing on the relevant aspects of the model's behavior and ignoring distractions.

2. Retention: After paying attention to the model, individuals must be able to remember the behavior that was demonstrated. This involves encoding the information into memory and being able to recall it later when needed.

3. Reproduction: Once the behavior has been observed and remembered, individuals must be able to reproduce or imitate the behavior themselves. This may involve practicing the behavior and refining their own skills through trial and error.

4. Motivation: Finally, individuals must be motivated to engage in the behavior they have observed. This motivation can come from various sources, such as the expectation of rewards or positive outcomes, social approval, or personal satisfaction. Without motivation, individuals may not be inclined to imitate the behavior they have observed.
