The call of Jeremiah in the Bible?

The call of Jeremiah is found in the Book of Jeremiah, chapter 1, verses 4-10. In this passage, God calls Jeremiah to be a prophet to the nations. God tells Jeremiah that he was chosen and set apart for this purpose even before he was born. Despite Jeremiah's initial reluctance and feelings of inadequacy, God reassures him that He will be with him and give him the words to speak. Jeremiah ultimately accepts God's call and goes on to faithfully proclaim God's message to the people of Israel.
