Share situation where women and children are not treated in the same way as men in your community 🙏?

In my community, there is a cultural belief that women and children should be seen and not heard. This often results in women and children being overlooked or dismissed in decision-making processes, whether it be within the family or in the community at large. Men are typically given more authority and respect, while women and children are expected to follow their lead without question.

Additionally, there is a lack of resources and support for women and children who are victims of domestic violence or abuse. Many women are afraid to speak out or seek help due to fear of retaliation or being ostracized by their community. Children who witness or experience abuse are often not given the same level of attention or support as adult victims.

Overall, there is a clear disparity in how women and children are treated compared to men in my community, and it is a systemic issue that needs to be addressed through education, advocacy, and policy change.
