Job Title: Learning and Development Manager

Summary:
The Learning and Development Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive learning and development strategy for the organization. This includes identifying employee training needs, designing and delivering training programs, and evaluating the effectiveness of learning initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Needs Assessment:
- Conduct assessments to identify employee training needs based on business goals, performance metrics, and feedback.
- Analyze organizational gaps and develop training plans to address these needs.
- Program Design and Delivery:
- Design and develop training programs that align with identified needs.
- Deliver training sessions using a variety of methods, including instructor-led, online, and blended learning.
- Facilitate learning opportunities and create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Program Evaluation:
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using metrics such as knowledge gain, skill improvement, and business impact.
- Gather feedback from participants and make adjustments based on evaluation results.
- Training Coordination:
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate training initiatives.
- Manage training budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Track employee training progress and maintain training records.
- Learning Resources Management:
- Manage a library of learning resources, including online courses, videos, and reference materials.
- Keep up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging learning technologies.
- Organizational Development:
- Provide guidance on organizational development initiatives, such as succession planning, performance management, and career development.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions on topics relevant to organizational growth and employee development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Learning and Development, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in learning and development, training, or organizational development.
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of learning theory, instructional design, and evaluation methods.
- Experience with a variety of learning technologies and online learning platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for learning and a commitment to employee development.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
