I was thinking of trying 3 bigger ones with my angels. But introducing a bunch of adult angels to each other didn't work out so well. So maybe I should start off with babies?

Starting off with baby angels is a good idea, as they are less likely to be aggressive towards each other compared to adult angels. It will also give them time to grow and establish a hierarchy within the group before introducing larger angels. Make sure to provide plenty of hiding spots and plants in the tank to reduce aggression and territorial behavior.
