There are several ways that my mentor teacher and I can check for understanding to ensure that all learners are meeting the outcomes of the lesson on settlement patterns. Some strategies we may use include:

1. Formative assessments: We can use a variety of formative assessments throughout the lesson to gauge students' understanding. This could include exit tickets, quizzes, or quick checks for understanding.
