Grade: R (4-5 years old)

Subject: Auditory Discrimination

Objective: Students will be able to distinguish between different sounds and identify them correctly.

Materials:
- Various objects that make different sounds (e.g. bell, whistle, drum, shaker)
- Pictures of the objects
- Whiteboard and markers

Introduction (5 minutes):
1. Begin the lesson by discussing the sense of hearing and how we use it to listen to different sounds.
2. Show the students the various objects that make different sounds and ask them to listen carefully to each sound.

Activity (15 minutes):
1. Play each sound one at a time and ask the students to identify which object is making the sound.
2. Show the corresponding picture of the object as they guess.
3. Repeat the sounds as many times as needed for the students to correctly identify each object.

Extension (10 minutes):
1. Have the students close their eyes and listen to a series of sounds. Ask them to raise their hand when they hear a specific sound.
2. Play a game where the students have to mimic the sounds they hear using their own voices.

Conclusion (5 minutes):
1. Review the different sounds and objects with the students.
2. Ask the students to share their favorite sound from the lesson.
