As a teacher, there are several actions and interventions I would apply to improve the self-esteem and self-worth of my Grade R learner.

Firstly, I would create a positive and supportive classroom environment where each student feels valued and respected. I would praise and encourage my students regularly, focusing on their strengths and accomplishments rather than their weaknesses.

I would also provide opportunities for my students to set and achieve goals, helping them build confidence in their abilities. This could be done through individualized learning tasks or group projects where each student has a chance to shine.

Additionally, I would teach my students about the importance of self-care and self-compassion, helping them develop a positive self-image and learn to be kind to themselves.
