3. Mimosa pigra - Also known as giant sensitive plant, this invasive shrub has spread rapidly in Uganda, forming dense thickets that can displace native vegetation and alter ecosystems.
4. Parthenium hysterophorus - Commonly known as parthenium weed, this invasive plant has spread throughout Uganda, outcompeting native vegetation and causing health issues for humans and livestock.
5. Nile perch (Lates niloticus) - This fish species was introduced to Lake Victoria in the 1950s for commercial fishing purposes, but has since had negative impacts on native fish populations and ecosystems in the lake.
