Definition of conductors and insulators,semi conductors?

Conductors: Conductors are materials that allow the flow of electric current through them easily. They have a high density of free electrons that are able to move freely within the material. Examples of conductors include metals like copper, aluminum, and silver.

Insulators: Insulators are materials that do not allow the flow of electric current through them easily. They have a very low density of free electrons, making it difficult for electric charges to move through the material. Examples of insulators include rubber, plastic, glass, and wood.

Semiconductors: Semiconductors are materials that have properties in between conductors and insulators. They have a moderate density of free electrons, which allows them to conduct electricity under certain conditions. The conductivity of semiconductors can be controlled by adding impurities or by applying an external electric field. Semiconductors are widely used in electronic devices such as transistors, diodes, and integrated circuits. Silicon and germanium are common examples of semiconductors.
