Oh yes, Tihany is truly magnificent with that awesome panoramic view from the top of the hill. The specialty of that place is the echo, if you shout out loud a "hello" you'll hear it at least three times afterwards.

There is this amazing lake in the center of the peninsula. On one side you'll find a horse riding ranch, on the other side there is a grey cattle. The panorama of the village and the church takes you a back in the early 20th century.

My favorite restaurant there is the "Régi idők udvara", Backyard of the old times tranlated word by word. It looks like a museum with all the old stuff you could find in a Hungarian farm in the 19th century, there are tables and benches around and you drink your sweet summer wine from earthenware, a mug made by some local craftsmen.

Taste the local fish, the flesh melts in your mouth.

I live in Budapest but can't get enough of this beautiful city. Check out the sunrize from the middle of the Margaret bridge, also the sunset from the Citadell. Take a light stroll on Normafa, the panoramic view of the capital takes your breath away. There are some lookout towers all the way around the Buda hills, take a tour and climb them, cause the picture changes from tower to tower.

The parks are nice but nothing fancy. For a chill afternoon I'd prefer going up to Buda hills instead of the city park or Margaret island, they are crowded.

The parliament, Heroes' squire, Vajdahunyad castle, Buda castle and district, Citadell are a must to vizit.

Király street and Gozsdu udvar, Deák squire are for fun in the evening and night. Váci street is for high end shopping experience.

Also, there are guided tours in caves under Buda side, guided canoe tours on the river Danube. This season the city is alive, there are many street lerformances and dancing events all around the centre.
